VIU promotes international mobility by providing internship opportunities and scholarships to students of the Globalization Program. Following the semester of courses at VIU, selected students are offered internships at research centers, universities, cultural organizations and companies in Italy and abroad.

S.Z.L.: The competences I developed should be further supported by museums, to find new ways in the transmission of cultural heritage and in the approach to the audience.

Stefania Zardini Lacedelli studies Economics and management of the arts and works in the Educational Department of Musei delle Regole (Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy). During her placement at the Dept. of Art History and Visual Studies of Duke Univeristy, U.S.A. with Prof. Victoria Szabo, Stefania developed her research thesis “MAPS - Museum Accessibility platform” and an interactive online platform called MQUADRO. Camilla Crosta, student in Art History, attended the VIU Spring and Fall 2011 semesters and applied for an internship experience abroad during Fall 2012 in Bristol, U.K., where she had the unique opportunity to collaborate with Situations - one of the main actors in public art, and to use this experience as a case study for her final master thesis.
