Venice International University has developed long-term partnerships with:

 

- Advanced Seminar in the Humanities on "Literature and Culture in the Ancient Mediterranean: Greece, Rome and the Near East"

Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, in cooperation with Venice International University, offers an advanced seminar on "Literature and Culture in the Ancient Mediterranean: Greece, Rome and the Near East". The aim of the program, which is conceived as a two year commitment, is to investigate the relationship between themes, motifs and structures of classical and near eastern texts and to examine the processes involved in their transmission and preservation.

 

- CESifo
The CESifo Venice Summer Institute, held every year in July, focuses on themes of current interest in European economic policy. The Institute brings together international economists working on economic policy topics for workshops, panel meetings and discussion.

 

- EAERE - FEEM
Since 2000 the European Association of Environmental and Resources Economists (EAERE), the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), and Venice International University (VIU) have been successfully running their European Summer School in Resource and Environmental Economics. The broader objective of this series of events is to provide advanced training for young researchers from all over Europe and beyond on European issues of environmental and resource economics.

 

- Euro-project Training Center
Starting from 2010 VIU and Europelago are jointly managing the Euro-Project Training Center which promotes training activities in the field of EU projects and financial and operational management of EU funded projects. Europelago Foundation supported by AICCRE, the Italian section of CEMR - Council of European Municipalities and Regions, has been collaborating for many years with VIU in promoting advanced training programs on topics related to European integration.

 

- ISNV - International School of Neurological Sciences in Venice
The International School of Neurological Sciences (ISNV), founded in 1990, provides health professionals with the opportunity to improve their skills in the Neurological Sciences by organizing courses conducted by leading international experts in specific fields. The School is divided into sections that periodically hold meetings, workshops, round-tables and courses. In 1998 ISNV and Venice International University signed an agreement in order to develop a program of permanent education on the island of San Servolo.

 

- ITA - Italian Trade Agency (2015)
Master in Internationalization of Enterprises, addressed to undergraduate and graduate students with knowledge of oriental languages, with the aim to train experts in internationalization processes of manifacturing and services companies.
DESIGN EXPORT LAB made up of a short educational tour and of a Master Class at Venice International University. The course addesses foreing architects and designers and aims at making the participants fully understand the unicity of Italian Design and how it is achieved, thanks to the collaboration of famous Italian architects and producers.

 

- Venice International School on Lasers in Materials Science

The Venice International School on Lasers in Materials Science (SLIMS) brings together PhD students and young research scientists working in the field of laser-materials interactions offering courses, lectures and conferences that take place on the island of San Servolo.
