Scholarships to support residency of Globalization Program students

VIU strives to promote excellence and diversity in the Globalization Program. Each semester scholarships are awarded to talented students to contribute to the cost of living in Venice for a semester.
The scholarships are equivalent to the cost of accommodation in the apartments arranged by VIU (€1,625), but will be paid directly to the students, who may choose to spend it on the accommodation that best suits their needs.

Eligibility
Any student regularly enrolled in any Bachelor or Master's degree program in a VIU Member University, who wishes to register or is already registered for the VIU Globalization Program. (Exchange students are not eligible)

Selection Criteria
The aim of the scholarship program is to promote excellence and academic and cultural diversity in the Globalization Program.  

Candidates will be selected by a committee composed of:
- the Dean of VIU, Prof. Carlo Giupponi
- the Director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Luca Pes

• Curriculum Vitae
• Transcript of records (for current degree program only)
• Recommendation letter by a tenured Professor in the home University

Deadlines

Applications for Fall 2017 Semester will close on June 5, 2017.

Applications for the Spring 2018 semester will be accepted between: June 6 and October 30, 2017 3pm (Italian time).
