S1007 Business Management in Globalizing Asia
East Asian countries have attained a high economic growth since the 1970s. In the 1980s China began also experiencing a high economic growth. As a result, East Asia has become a leading developing center in the world. This course examines the dynamic interaction between environmental forces and business by explaining the structure and development of business systems in Asian countries since 1945. Through a comparative approach, the characteristics of business systems in Asian countries are analyzed.
