F0608 All the World is a Living Room – a study of Ibsen’s Realism
The aim of the course: to study and compare four of the most important modern playwrights: Strindberg, Chekhov, Lorca and Pirandello. These playwrights represent the various aspects of what defines the modern theatre: Reialism, Symbolism, Poetry and Self-Examination of the Dramatica Event. The course will also examine various stage produation of plays by those playwrights.\r\n
This will provide students with analytical tools to examine modern plays and modern productions.
\r\nThere is no preliminary knowledge requisite for this course.
