Masterclass on "Effective care of older patients with swallowing difficulties" May 18-20, 2016 Venice International University European Interdisciplinary Council on Ageing, European Society of Swallowing Disorders and The European Union Geriatric Medicine Society are glad to announce the second translational training course to review the evidence-based role of nutrition in older patients with swallowing difficulties.
The course will focus on: • Dysphagia diagnosis and treatment in older adults • Practicalities of managing risk for complications • Care needs for malnutrition, dehydration, and frailty The program is tailored for geriatricians, GPs, other medical specialists and allied health care professionals. ACCREDITATION: An application has been made to the EACCME for CME accreditation of this event.
