"Course for Sustainability - Resilience and Sustainability of Municipalities" Venice International University, Campus of San Servolo Island – November 22-29, 2015
The Course is built on successful past editions and is designed to prepare Ukraine key stakeholders to be resilient in the face of growing environmental and sustainability challenges. The participants are selected among director generals and head of departments of different Ministries, State agencies, local governments and associations. Through discussions on how to improve the endurance, flexibility and adaptive capacity of communities, the Course aims to promote the implementation of concrete actions to achieve resilience. Key topics will be: climate change, energy, water, waste & urban social sustainability.
The Course for Sustainability series was launched started in 2003 thanks to the support of the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea. The initiative is jointly organized by the Thematic Environmental Network Center (TEN) of the Venice International University and the Regional Environmental Center (REC).
