Artisans SMEs in the global economy

The project aim at defining the guidelines of an innovative policy for SME’s internationalization in the next decade.

In the last ten years SMEs, particularly the artisans sector, has looked at the globalization process with a defensive attitude. Empirical evidences and entrepreneurs expectations suggested to change this attitude and to start a new ambitious and necessary path. It is urgent to define a new internationalization strategy that can better use the development of new technologies and the international logistic structure. Research activities has been developed through the definition together with CNA, of a need of assessment report in order to verify the internationalization expectations of the sector;  interviews and case studies has been  elaborated as the basis of the status of the art report; communication and dissemination actions has been planned to present the research results.
