Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Training on Clean Energy and Climate Change

On June 14, the second course organized in 2015 in cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) will take place in Italy. The training course, targeting a delegation of 42 participants, will be focused on Clean Energy and Climate Change.

The course will address two major tools to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change, renewable energies and energy efficiency. These issues will be extensively discussed during the course through lectures and site visits. Policy tools and case studies from energy efficiency applications will be presented, along with an overview of the main renewable energy sources, their diffusion and future development. In addition to the policies promoted at national and European level, the private companies' approach to reduce emissions and save resources will also be presented.
