VIU at Ca' Foscari, Duke and Boston College Fairs

This month VIU will participate in the following Study Abroad Fairs:


- September 10, 11 am: Duke Global Education Fair, Scharf Hall, Duke Campus
- September 13: Ca' Foscari International Welcome Day
- September 18, 6 pm: Boston College Study Abroad Fair, Conte Forum, BC Campus

 

The program provides a powerful learning experience in which students develop their capacity for critical thinking and creative problem solving. Students of the Globalization Program are thus more prepared for graduate and professional study and for careers in new and emerging fields. A set of core courses is available every semester, focusing on three themes: Italy - courses that showcase Venetian and Italian life, culture, art and history;
Cultures of the World - courses that examine the cultures of the world; courses that make the most of the intercultural classroom; Global Challenges - courses that address current, global issues, preferably from an interdisciplinary perspective:


Two specialization tracks are offered, respectively in the Fall and Spring semesters: Economics, Management and Digital Technologies applied to Cultural Heritage (fall) and Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (spring)


Moreover additional courses on offer for one semester only, taught by visiting professors from member universities.
