Closing Ceremony of the Fall 2015 term

The Fall 2015 term of the Globalization Program closes on Thursday, 17 December 2015.

Since September 2015, 147 students representing 19 different nationalities throughout America, Asia, Africa and Europe have been attending courses taught by professors from VIU's member universities. Following the semester the best students will be able to avail of interesting internship opportunities.

The Closing Ceremony will be held at 5.00 pm in Aula Magna (room 1-E). Friends of VIU faculty, students and staff are welcome to join the event.

The program will be as follows:
- VIU Lecture by Prof. Giorgio Gianighian, Università Iuav di Venezia about “Threatened Heritage”
- Opening Remarks, Prof. Agar Brugiavini, Dean of Venice International University and Prof. Luca Pes, Vice-Dean and Director of VIU's School of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Awards for Academic Excellence, selected by the Fall 2015 faculty
- Award of Scholarships for internships in Italy
- Video testimonials made by the students of the course of Italian for Foreigners – intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced levels.
A farewell reception will follow.
