Pre-registration for the Spring 2016 semester opens October 15.
Over 130 students from all over the world will take courses on Italy, Cultures of the World and Global Challenges in the 15-week program.

The specialization track on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development gives students with a background in the Social Sciences the opportunity to acquire skills that will be useful in developing careers in this field. There will also be other excellent opportunities for students interested in history and art in Venice, intercultural exchange, but also globalization, welfare, ethics and human rights. Additional courses will be proposed, based on common principles of research through parallelisms and complementarities, such as “The Family - A Safe Heaven or a Battle Field” and “Cities After 9/11”. The courses are interdisciplinary and are structured as seminars so as to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among students from different academic and cultural backgrounds. The full course listing for Spring 2016 term is now available, descriptions and syllabi will soon be updated.

Through the Mobility Program the best students will be selected for internship opportunities abroad (eg. Tongji University - UNEP Institute for Environment and Sustainable Development, Duke University, MOCA Shanghai, UNESCO-WHITRAP) and in Italy (eg. Peggy Guggenheim Museum, La Biennale di Venezia, UNESCO Venice Office, eAmbiente-Venice, Italian National Research Council). Internships are supported by scholarships.
