New E-learning platform Moodle

Venice International University joins the Moodle platform: a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) used by colleges, universities and schools worldwide!

The word Moodle is an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment.

Current technologies allow students and professors to engage outside the classroom using a variety of devices: Moodle provides this flexibility which has come to be expected by international students today, who can now access their course materials and communicate with their instructors and peers though different technological supports, thereby improving the learning experience.

The Spring 2015 courses of the Globalization Program are now available on this web-based application, which is a safe, user-friendly and secure environment where Professors have organized and uploaded a variety of materials. Registered students can access and share readings, comments, discuss in forums, submit homework, take part in surveys... and employ many other tools useful to their academic program.
