Coping with Sea Level Rise: scholarship opportunities

Limited places are still available for the VIU summer school on "Environmental Management in a Changing World: Coping with Sea Level Rise" jointly promoted by The Nicholas School of the Environment (Duke University) and Venice International University.

Thanks to the generous contribution of some sponsors, scholarships are now available.
 

The summer program, which will be held at Venice International University, Island of San Servolo, Venice, from July 14 to July 27, provides training in key issues concerning the impact of sea level rise on coastal areas and cities, and in adaptation and mitigation strategies.

The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students from any university and any discipline with an interest in environmental issues, and able to read and write fluently in English. Applicants familiar with these subjects and already working in private companies or the public sector are also welcome.
