Working paper on land deals available online

The working paper "The rush for agricultural land and water resources: the role of the European Union" is now available in the TEN Center Research section.

The paper, by M. Antonelli, G. Siciliano, M. E. Turvani, and M. C. Rulli, explores the role that the European Union member States play in the current wave of acquisitions in agricultural land in developing countries, given the nexus relating land with resources such as water, energy and food, which are the key pillars of human wellbeing and societal development globally.

The working paper is part of a wider research "The role of Europe in land deals: understanding the food-energy-water-security nexus" jointly developed by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, the Department of Design and Planning in Complex Environment, University IUAV of Venice, and Venice International University, with the support of Enel Foundation.
