Prof. Gianighian at Jiao Tong University

Venice International University would like to congratulate Professor Giorgio Gianighian on his recent appointment as Vice-Director of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University International Research Center for Architectural Heritage Conservation.

Professor Gianighian's appointment was granted as a formal recognition of his outstanding academic achievements in the fields of art conservation and restoration.

Giorgio Gianighian is Professor of Architectural Restoration at IUAV University of Venice, where he is also Deputy Dean for International Affairs. He is a member of the Academic Council of VIU and he is currently teaching the Fall 2013 Course "Training in UNESCO World Heritage Studies".
