Training on Energy in the Mediterranean, with Enel Foundation

Enel Foundation and the International Energy Agency (IEA), in collaboration with VIU, organizes a training course focusing on the recent development of energy system in the Mediterranean Region. The course will take place at VIU premises, from May 20 to 24.


The Training course provides a general overview of the current status of the Energy Markets in the Mediterranean basin together with a comprehensive review of the main matter that contributes to shape modern energy system in the region. The Training course is tailored for the participation of governmental officers dealing with policymaking on energy issues, as well as members of Regulatory Authorities, Regulated Entities and Companies operating in the energy domain.


The training course is organized around morning lectures focusing each day on a different topic, chosen among most relevant policy issues. The lecture is integrated by an afternoon session devoted to the analysis of case studies and/or the participation to focus groups.
