On September 8-9, 2016, the first annual meeting of the EUCLID project was hosted at Venice International University in Venice, Italy.

EUCLID is a four-year Research and Innovation Action funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020, which aims to secure food production for the increasing worldwide population while developing sustainable production methodologies to fight pests with an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM), to be used in European and Chinese agriculture.

The meeting saw the participation of representatives of all 18 project partner institutions, either in person or connecting via teleconference.

Plenary sessions were organised to present an overview of the main achievements within each WP, and working sessions to analyse the project activities of each WP more in detail and plan future work.
