VIU President, Ambassador Umberto Vattani and VIU Dean, Prof. Carlo Giupponi will welcome the many students, professors and guests from VIU Members for the Fall term 2016 Globalization Program, focused on Economics, Management And Digital Technologies Applied To Cultural Heritage.


The semester will be inaugurated with a Lectio Magistralis entitled 'Venice, a Cosmopolitan City. The Places of the Minorities and the Jewish Ghetto' delivered by Donatella Calabi, Professor of Urban History and Director of the Scientific Committee for the Quincentennial of the institution of the Ghetto of Venice and curator of the exhibition "Venice, the Jews and Europe 1516-2016" Venice, 19 June – 13 November 2016, Palazzo Ducale – Doge’s Apartment *
