By combining traditional calligraphy painting with gestural impulses of Western action painting, the Chinese artist believes in the interaction between Eastern and Western cultures and the potential transformation of cultures through art.

Qin Feng explored this intercultural dialogue in a live performance, during the Opening event on Thursday 19 May, at the Palladian Refectory in front of "The Wedding at Cana", Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore.
