Course for Sustainability - Year 2011

In 2011 Belarus and Ukraine have been involved for the first time in the Course for Sustainability.

 

The following courses have been organized in 2011:

 

Course for Sustainability for Ukraine and Belarus
The Course is developed and organized in collaboration with the REC and Agroinnova.
Participants are selected among high representatives of Ukrainian and Belarusian governments as well as from the business and academic sector of the targeted regions.
The agenda faces crucial environmental issues for the region such as: policy and tools to promote sustainability, environmental economics and green economy, urban development, agriculture, waste management, water pollution and radioactivity environmental concerns.

Course for Sustainability for Black Sea Countries
The fourth edition of the Course involved Istanbul Bahçeşehir University as a new partner. Two modules have been arranged at the Bahçeşehir University and at the Venice International University, involving 35 participants selected among civil servants of central and local governments and representatives of the business sector from Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, the Russian Federation, Turkey and the Ukraine.

Course for Sustainability in South Eastern Europe and the Visegrad Countries
As in the former editions the course addressed participants from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and the Balkan region, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
